Nigeria has no shortage of ideas, policies, strategies, or plans. What it has consistently lacked is the institutional execution capacity to convert them into sustained outcomes. The Nigeria Capacity Forum was convened to change the conversation.
Rather than debating what Nigeria should do — a conversation this country has had for decades — the Forum asks a more actionable question: what systems does Nigeria need to build in order to do it?
This is a forum not for policy announcements, but for institutional diagnosis, practical frameworks, and evidence-based action. It brings together the people who lead Nigeria's institutions — and who must therefore answer for their execution.
The Nigeria Capacity Forum will become Nigeria's most consequential annual gathering on institutional performance. Year by year, it will track progress, hold institutions to account, celebrate genuine delivery, and generate the evidence base for reform.
The inaugural 2026 Forum — built around the findings of the NCIx 2026 — marks the beginning of a long-term national conversation about execution, capability, and the systems through which Nigeria can fulfil its potential.
Each year, the Forum will produce a Forum Communiqué: a set of actionable recommendations that can be tracked and assessed at the following year's gathering.
