Victor Onyenkpa, FCA, FCTI, CTA (UK) is a distinguished corporate leader, governance expert and former Chief Operating Officer of KPMG Africa, with more than three decades of experience advising organisations on governance, regulatory compliance, taxation, risk management and institutional performance. Throughout his career, he has worked with governments, multinational corporations and leading Nigerian enterprises, helping them navigate complex regulatory environments, strengthen organisational systems and improve institutional effectiveness.

Prior to his retirement from KPMG Africa, Mr Onyenkpa held several senior leadership positions within the KPMG network, including Chief Operating Officer and Risk Management Partner. He led numerous high-profile advisory engagements involving corporate restructuring, major investment decisions, regulatory negotiations, governance reform and tax strategy, particularly within Nigeria's energy and natural resources sector. His professional career has been distinguished by an unwavering commitment to excellence, quality assurance, ethical leadership and the development of high-performing institutions.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), as well as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (United Kingdom), Mr Onyenkpa is widely respected for his expertise in corporate governance, organisational systems, strategic leadership and institutional stewardship.
