Professor Muhammad Moshfique Uddin

Professor Muhammad Moshfique Uddin is an internationally distinguished scholar of finance, institutional economics, and corporate governance whose research has made significant contributions to understanding how institutional quality shapes business performance, investment, and economic development. He is Professor of Financial Management at Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds, where he has established an international reputation for research that bridges rigorous financial scholarship with the practical challenges of governance and development in emerging economies.

Widely recognised as one of the leading voices on the interaction between finance, institutions, and sustainable economic growth, Professor Uddin's work examines how governance structures, regulatory environments, financial systems, and institutional capabilities influence the performance of firms, industries, and national economies.
